Childhood pals

This is very cute, though I think the anatomy is a little off and the highlights and shading look flat. You see, the dodge and burn tools are horrible for highlights and shading. Instead, use different colours for for that. Use some dark blues and greens, or even purples and browns for shading, and use light blues, yellows, oranges, greens, and purples for highlights. They will make your pictures look a whole lot better.

Anyway though, it does look cute, and I like the magenta highlights on the ponies. Just try using different colours and you'll really make the pictures look better.
